The stone circle of Uragh North in County Kerry in Ireland stands on the Beara Peninsula between the lakes Cloonee Lough (Upper) and Loch Inchiquin in Uragh (Irish Úrach). The river Ameen connecting the two lakes flows about 200 meters to the north. The circle can only be reached via a spur road that begins at Cooragillagh.

This circle of stones stands on a small terrace on the hillside above Loch Inchiquin. An approximately three-meter high monolith stands next to the tiny “Five Stone Circle”, with 2.4 m diameter, a type of stone that is typical for the southwest of the island. Uragh is a characteristic Irish stone circle of the Cork-Kerry series of plate-like stones. Four stones stand, while the southeastern is in trouble. The cuboid monolith arranged radially to the circle dominates the scene. He stands only 60 cm from the stone circle. Nearby is the slightly larger stone circle Uragh southwest.
